OUR DEDICATED TEAM
Our Early Years team consists of highly dedicated and qualified practitioners, with qualifications ranging from Level 3 to fully qualified early years teachers. We also have early years apprentices who are committed to becoming exceptional practitioners in the field.
Our Key person approach
A key Person is an early years practitioner who will get to know your child as an individual and plan for their developmental needs accordingly- offering activities which both stimulate them and offer appropriate challenges every week. These observations will be found in your child’s online learning journal and are in line with the EYFS guidelines. Once your child has settled into nursery, we tend to find they have their own preference to an early years practitioner. This practitioner will become their key person and will be the person who plans for their development on a week-to-week basis.
Parent Partnership and Support
We recognise the vital role that parents and carers play as the primary figures in their children's lives. Our aim is to foster a close working relationship with you to ensure we consistently meet your family's needs.
Inclusion for all children
Our policy is to embrace the inclusion of all children by collaborating with health services and other agencies. We are committed to fully supporting the needs of your child at all times. However, it may be necessary to provide additional training or information prior to your child's start date to ensure their safe access to the learning environment.
TRANSITIONS
Transitioning into a new room is a big leap for the children and every child’s experience is different. We feel as a collective that offering an integrated approach supporting each child’s transition is essential and we work closely with your child to gain insight on their interests to provide a smooth transition. We offer support on an individual basis, and this will vary depending on the level of support your child needs so don’t worry, it can take as long or as little as needed. Further information is available in our transition policy and each room's transition booklet.
Famly App
We offer a dedicated parent app that enables you to monitor your child's progress at your convenience. Simply download the Famly app to access your child's journal, which includes regular photos and observations.
The app also allows you to view your invoices and provides daily updates, keeping you informed about the latest developments. In the event of anything urgent, we will contact you directly. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us at any time with any concerns or questions.
