We would like to take this opportunity to welcome all the children and parents to our Busy Bee room and share a little information. Our Busy Bee room and layout is based around the Early Years Foundation curriculum. We work closely with your child daily to encourage awe and wonder through stimulating activities. If anyone would like to view the room, please speak to a member of busy bee staff who can arrange a visit. We observe your child on a daily basis as we learn best from them. Your child teaches us more about themselves when they are engaged and have their own interests. All planning and observations can be viewed through your child’s online learning journey on the Famly app. Transitioning into a new room is a big step for all children and every child’s experience is different. Our Ratio in the Busy Bees room is 1:8, therefore our practitioners are there to support your child in this transition. We offer support on an individual basis and this will vary depending on the level of support your child needs, it can take as long or as little as needed. The key person will be there to make sure your child is fully supported, and the Busy Bee practitioners will work closely to develop connections with you and your child. We work closely with the butterfly room and parents/carers to ensure children are supported during the transition period.
